Meet Catia, a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation
Agency (AHPRA). Catia has extensive experience working with parents, children, and
adolescents and has helped families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and
challenging family situations. She uses a therapeutic framework that draws from Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical
Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Attachment
Theory.

Catia is particularly passionate about the attachment system and early life experiences'
impact on relationships and mental health throughout life. Her focus on attachment
systems makes her an ideal choice for those looking to strengthen their bonds and develop
healthy and secure relationships with their children. She also supports new parents during
the challenging transition to parenthood and works collaboratively with individuals to
achieve their treatment goals. Furthermore, Catia is committed to ongoing professional
development, including Perinatal Mental Health Assessment and Care from the Centre of
Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and is a Circle of Security (COSP) facilitator.
