Allie Platt

Psychologist: Telehealth

Allie is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) and she received her Bachelor of Psychology degree through Charles Sturt University in Bathurst.

Allie has delivered mental health care in a variety of settings throughout her career, including corrective services, youth service and community mental health. She has worked across diverse backgrounds with a range of presenting issues; including depression, anxiety, grief and loss and trauma.

As a first time mother, Allie is passionate about providing mental health care during the perinatal period and supporting women through this life transition. Her therapeutic approach involves the use of models such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and mindfulness. Allie prides herself on her ability to build rapport and create a safe environment for clients, resulting in a collaborative approach to therapy.

Allie has completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and the Seleni Institute.
